The San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is a volunteer board comprised of private business and public partners appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
The WIB strengthens the County’s workforce through strategic planning, understanding the workforce needs of county businesses, serving job seekers, and funding skills training programs. Partnerships with business, education and community-based organizations make this effort a success.
Through the County of San Bernardino’s Economic Development Agency and Workforce Development Department, three Employment Resource Centers offer support services and training for our local businesses and county residents. In addition, Business Services provides customized recruitment, a variety of training programs, including on-the-job training, labor market information and other resources to businesses at no cost.
